TD-R Tandem Tankers are designed for high-use premium farmers and agricultural contractors.

The TD-R Tankers feature a sprung drawbar, four large BKT 750/60 R30.5 Ridemax tyres and a high-speed commercial sprung axle complete with rear steering are all fitted as standard ensuring TD-R tankers can travel anywhere and get there fast. Capacities from 3,000 to 4,000 gallons (13,638 to 18,184 litres) are easily carried to ensure TD-R tankers float across the field and from one job to the next.

TD-R Tanker
TD-R Tanker

TD-R tankers are particularly adept where farmers and contractors want to overcome all obstacles. TD-R tankers have the wheels recessed into the tanker to keep the width of the tankers as narrow as possible, whilst also providing maximum tyre-to-ground coverage. The barrel of the TD-R model is made longer than the TD-S to allow for the wheel arches, and this barrel is fully supported to ensure a smooth ride. TD-R models are fitted with a sprung bogie complete with rear steer for manoeuvrability with these larger tankers. The bogie axle responds exceptionally well to rapid changes in ground contours, and the rear steering aids turning and reduces tyre wear.

Jurop Pump

A Jurop 11000-litre vacuum pump is fitted as standard across the TD-R range. Jurop is a high-quality pump designed and manufactured in a state-of-the-art factory in Italy. As a result, jurop pumps are recognised as the fastest and most powerful vacuum pumps available today. Each pump is assembled according to Jurop’s methodical standards and is carefully tested and checked. PTO-driven as standard, Jurop pumps provide the most efficient method of filling or emptying your slurry tank.

Tyres

TD-R tankers are fitted as standard on 750/60 R30.5 BKT FL693M Ridemax tyres to suit intensive road usage (75% road, 25% field). All tyre options offer high-speed indexes, which stand for higher speeds when travelling on the road leading to significant time savings. In addition, the low rolling resistance contributes to less fuel consumption. The large tyres also have the added benefit of travelling quickly over land with minimal compaction.

New Feature: Parabolic Sprung Axle

TD-R tankers are fitted on a parabolic high-speed tandem axle complete with rear steering. The parabolic axle is welded along the entire underside of the chassis for maximum strength. The axle is particularly suited for intensive road usage as stresses and strains are transmitted along a greater distance than a conventional bogie pivot. The suspension is under-slung to reduce the centre of gravity and increase stability. Axle spacings are positioned at 1,820mm to accommodate the large 30.5 wheels. 420×180 hydraulic brakes are provided with air over hydraulic an optional extra to further improve braking capacity.

New Feature: Chassis

TD-R tankers are fully supported by a unique fold chassis. The chassis is folded twice to support the barrel along four key-lines for its entire length. This ensures that the weight of the tanker is distributed evenly to the axle. The chassis is also fitted with internal reinforcement to cope with any additional stresses placed upon these high-performance tankers. For improved comfort, reinforced baffles are fitted internally at staggered heights to prevent surging.
